1. The service
NovaBlock is a browser extension that blocks ads, trackers, pop-ups, cookie banners and YouTube pre-rolls. The core extension is free. Premium unlocks additional features for a recurring subscription fee.
2. Acceptable use
You may use NovaBlock for personal browsing. Reverse engineering, redistributing, or using the extension to attack websites is not allowed.
3. Subscriptions and trials
Premium is billed monthly (€4) or yearly (€35) through Stripe and includes a 7-day free trial. After the trial, your card is charged automatically unless you cancel from the customer portal. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds
If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you will not be charged. For paid periods, refunds are at our discretion, please write to support@novablock.app and we'll be reasonable.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Premium features may be paused until payment succeeds.
6. Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features over time. Material changes will be announced on the site.
7. Disclaimer
NovaBlock is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that every ad, tracker or banner will be blocked on every site, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
