We build NovaBlock on a simple idea. You should be able to use the web without the web using you. It should take one click, it should cost nothing to stay protected, and it should ask nothing from you in return.

The web today is loud. Open almost any page and, before the thing you actually came for shows up, dozens of scripts are already running. Ads fight for your attention. Trackers quietly write down who you are. Cookie banners demand your consent to be watched. Then come the popups, the autoplay videos, the "sign in with Google," the "your browser is out of date." None of it is for you. All of it slows your device, drains your battery, and follows you from one site to the next, building a profile you never agreed to.

Most people have learned to accept this as the price of being online. We never did. NovaBlock exists to hand that price back to the people who should never have paid it.

What we believe

Protection is not a luxury. Blocking ads, stopping trackers, clearing cookie banners and shielding you from fingerprinting are not perks to sell to whoever can afford them. They are the floor, not the ceiling. Every core protection in NovaBlock is free for everyone, for good. No account. No trial running out. No catch.

Privacy should be invisible. You should not have to understand the tracking industry or make a hundred small decisions just to be safe. The best protection is the kind you forget is even there. Pages simply load faster and cleaner, and the things that used to watch you are quietly gone.

Your device is yours. NovaBlock does its work on your machine, and your browsing stays there. We do not build profiles and we do not sell data. Nothing leaves your device unless you decide to turn on sync or send us a crash report. Silence is the default, and that includes us.

We are not at war with the people who make things on the internet. Writers, creators and small sites deserve to earn a living, and advertising is a fair way to do that. What we stand against is surveillance, the tracking and profiling and quiet trade in your identity that hides inside so many modern ads. Our fight is with the machinery that follows you, not with the idea that good work should be paid for. The day a web that respects privacy can support its creators without watching them, we will be first in line to cheer.
